Privacy policy
We collect as little as we can and we never sell it. Last updated: 16 October 2026.
What we collect
- Account: mobile number, name and an optional email.
- Verification: CNIC number (stored securely), CNIC photos and ownership documents. These are used only for verification.
- Listing: the details, photos and location you add.
- Usage: anonymous clicks on contact buttons, and a keyed hash of your IP address to prevent abuse. We do not store the raw IP address.
Who can see what
- The public sees the listing, its photos and only the owner's first name.
- Your phone number stays hidden until someone taps Show number. Each reveal is logged and rate limited.
- CNIC photos and documents are visible only to our admins and, for Tier 3, the assigned verifier. They are never public.
Security
- We keep a one-way hash of the CNIC number plus the last 4 digits. The original number is encrypted and available to admins only.
- One-time codes are stored hashed and expire quickly.
- Location data is removed from public photos.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. An SMS service is used to send one-time codes and Google Maps is used to show maps. The WhatsApp button takes you to WhatsApp, after which WhatsApp's own policy applies.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: your login session and your chosen language. No advertising tracking.
Your rights
You can ask us to correct your data, or to delete your account and data. We may need to keep some records (such as the verification audit log) where the law or fraud prevention requires it. Send your request to our team.
